We are happy to welcome on board Rachel Jarvis in a new role called Head of Service Improvement. As part of our investment in the ITIL Continual Service Improvement framework, Rachel’s remit is to focus on proactive – not reactive - improvements and enhancements, garnering feedback from customers to drive our service levels ever upwards.
We have also realigned our delivery functions into two distinct, agile teams: Customer Response and Technical Solutions. The Customer Response team is made up of strong communicators who listen first and foremost, making sure everything is explained and captured, as well targeting a resolution upon first contact in well over 50% of calls.
Our Technical Solutions team are highly focused senior engineers who can spot trends, generate long term fixes and deliver complex project work.
We are now supporting approx. 4,000 people across approx. 250 organisations. This has allowed us to focus on high quality Project Delivery and Customer Relationship Management via the Head of Project Delivery and Head of IT Service Relationship roles. We have also boosted the Customer Response and Technical Solutions teams and have an active programme to recruit “on demand” Associates to assist with projects and service desk resourcing requirements as demand naturally flexes over the year.
MedicAlert provide assurance and lifesaving support to thousands of members each year through wearable “jewellery” devices that allow elderly and vulnerable people to call for help when they need it most. Ethical IT recently migrated their Membership system from a highly complex and challenging database to a new cloud platform, harnessing both amazon Web Services public cloud and Ethical IT’s own private hosting facility. We are now providing support for approximately 80 staff including an NHS emergency team that responds to calls from medical assistance teams when a member has an issue.
